TCG Lord Of The Tachyon Galaxy - What went wrong & what went right

Its only 3 more days till the release of the TCG version of Lord Of The Tachyon Galaxy, with 10 new TCG exclusives as well. However, this time round, us OCGers would not have to wait for a long time to get our hands on these TCG exclusives as they will be released to us as well just one day later in "Extra Pack: Sword Of Knights", which is a pretty good piece of news because this implies that the OCG are getting the TCG exclusives faster now.

Furthermore, this would also mean that the TCG exclusives released in Lord Of The Tachyon Galaxy will also be legal for Worlds this year. Larger card pool = more possibilities of different styles of play.

However, today I will not be focusing only on the new TCG exclusives, but looking at the entire set.
As usual, the TCG version of Lord Of The Tachyon Galaxy will see several rarity changes as compared to the OCG version, so what went right, and what went wrong with these rarity changes?

From the original 80 cards of the OCG version of Lord Of The Tachyon Galaxy, 21 of them were given an increase in rarity in the TCG while only 11 saw a decrease in rarity from their OCG counterparts.

Firstly, lets start examining the cards that saw a decrease in rarity:

LTGY-EN012: Blizzard Falcon
Effect: If this card's current ATK is higher than its original ATK: You can inflict 1500 damage to your opponent. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field. You can only use the effect of "Blizzard Falcon" once per turn.

Remarks: Blizzard Falcon's "once while this card is face-up on the field text" potentially ruins the interest of players to run this card in their deck, so decreasing its rarity was a good move. Otherwise, Blizzard Falcon's effect to burn 1500 damage seems to be pretty decent (Gachi-Gachi Gantetsu and other cards can assist it.)

LTGY-EN019: Battlin' Boxer Switchitter
Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 "Battlin' Boxer" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. You cannot Special Summon any monsters during the turn you activate this effect, except "Battlin' Boxer" monsters.

Remarks: Its effect is pretty decent for the Battlin' Boxer deck, the only drawback is that you cannot special summon other types of monsters. However, this card is still pretty good overall. The rarity decrease from rare to common is not very significant and does not pose any huge problems to either OCG or TCG players.

LTGY-EN027: Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Leopard
Effect: During your Main Phase, if this card was Normal or Special Summoned this turn: You can Tribute 1 "Fire Fist" monster; Set 1 "Fire Formation" Spell/Trap Card directly from your Deck. You can only use the effect of "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Leopard" once per turn.

Remarks: An instant searcher for a Fire Formation Spell/Trap upon summon, its effect is alright, but just like above, dropping from rare to common is not too significant a change for both OCG and TCG players.

LTGY-EN038,39,40,41: The Dragon Rulers
Remarks: Given the fact that Blaster and Tidal are going to be in a tin, and probably Redox and Tempest in Wave 2 as well, whichever rarity is assigned to these 4 cards would not be too siginificant, so placing them as rare is alright as well.

LTGY-EN047: CXyz Dark Fairy Cheer Girl
Effect: 3 Level 5 monsters
When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: Draw 1 card. If this card has "Fairy Cheer Girl" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.
● When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and remains on the field: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each card in your hand.
